Refunds are issued to students after an account over payment that results in an account credit balance. For information about when you can expect financial aid to disburse and generate an account credit that will result in a refund, please click here.

When you will receive the refund depends on how you have chosen to receive your refund. Your choices are direct deposit (savings or checking) or physical check. To select your refund preference, please go to

After your refund posts on your SIS account, you should allow 4-6 business days for a direct deposit and 10-14 business days for a paper refund check.

If you make no selection in the refund portal the default is physical check mailed to your address currently in SIS. Please allow 10-14 days after you see the refund posted to your SIS account. It is imperative that you keep your mailing address up to date to prevent delays.

If you made your payment through QuikPAY (online payment system) and are due a refund, your refund will be credited back to the card with which the original payment was made. Funds are usually available 3-4 business days after your refund is posted in SIS via this method.

Certain state grants and tuition refunds may take and additional 3-5 business days. A business day is considered to be Monday through Friday.
